Susan Ilias

Susan Ilias spent two years working for the Balanced Assessment program at Harvard Graduate School of Education. She facilitated the use of Balanced Assessment tasks at eight elementary schools in Boston, Massachusetts. Her role was to conduct model lessons demonstrating the tasks to teachers and students. Susan also oversaw the extensive use of Balanced Assessment materials at the Boston Public Schools elementary summer program The Best We Can Be.

Before joining Balanced Assessment, Susan received degrees from Drew University and Columbia University's Teachers College, and taught at public elementary schools in New York City and Bloomfield, New Jersey. Susan currently teaches at a Montessori elementary school in New Jersey.
